Lenz Foundation Reflections

The Lenz Foundation is commemorating 20 years since its founder (Rama – Dr. Frederick Lenz) launched the Foundation to promote American Buddhism with a retreat in March 2018 for its Advisory Board consisting of grantees and Rama students.  The purpose of the retreat is to assess its mission and results to date and to plan future directions. 

The Foundation’s current mission states, “By developing and strengthening the emerging community of American Buddhist organizations, we seek to give birth to an American society that reflects the universal Buddhist values of wisdom, compassion, mindfulness and meditation practice in pursuit of these values.”
The Foundation is seeking input from grantees and other supporters to help it assess and reflect on next steps.  The Foundation looks forward to receiving Rama students’ insights, ideas and reflections.
