Lucia René & New Paradigm Consciousness (Voices of the Sangha)

Our upcoming “Voices of the Sangha” interview is with Lucia René, who began her studies with Rama in 1981.  During her 17-year apprenticeship, she was known as Rene or, later, by the spiritual name Rama gave her, Bhakti.

In 2009, she published a book, Unplugging the Patriarchy, in which her perceptions of Rama’s teachings were woven throughout.  More of a mystical experience than a book, it has helped countless people shift their perception of the troubled world in which we live.

For the past 7 years, Lucia has been a spiritual mentor to thousands of people around the world via teleconferences, workshops, and retreats.  At this point, her exploration of consciousness has spanned 50 years.  Thanks to Rama, she is an ordained Buddhist monk and has a classical spiritual background.  She is best known for continually pushing the envelope of New Paradigm consciousness.

Voices of the Rama Sangha series – As a unique individual student of a fully enlightened teacher, we each carry special pieces of knowledge and experience that we can share with others. Rama taught that we can each share what we have learned – speaking from our own experience and sharing lessons learned. By doing so, others can feel the doorways that we went through, the states of mind we experienced and the levels of attention we accessed.
