New Years 2016 – Anza Borrego Desert Meditative Adventure

Some friends and students of Rama are planning a New Year's 2016 meditative adventure in the Anza Borrego desert.  Rama Meditation Society has graciously agreed to host this event.

For those who are inspired to come, we will meet in Borrego Springs at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 1st.  We will caravan to a desert gorge in the Anza Borrego State Park – a favorite place of power Rama took his students to.  'A part of me always remains in the desert.'  We will hike and meditate in the afternoon, leaving the area around sunset. We will have dinner together in town in the evening (dutch treat).

On Saturday January 2nd we will travel to another area of the State Park for a wonderful hilly view of the desert floor – at another locale frequented by Rama when he was in the body. The energy of this area is quite different than the first.  We will meditate and enjoy the beauty of the new year in this place of silence and wonder.  Four wheel drive vehicles are needed to access this area, so anyone who can bring one, please let us know.  We will end around sunset with a circle of power.  Some of us will travel home that evening.  Others will stay overnight and gather for a second dinner (dutch treat) on the 2nd and travel home on the 3rd. 

All expenses and arrangements are the responsibility of the participants.  Hotels and rentals are limited in the area, so make your reservations early.  Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
