Summer Solstice Canyon of Light Meditation Retreat – Canyon de Chelly

The Summer Solstice is the time of the greatest light each year and in 2015 we will spend the solstice in Canyon de Chelly. Canyon de Chelly is one of the most celebrated ancient sites in the world. Located in northeastern Arizona, this special Canyon is managed by the National Park Service with tours of the Canyon available from Navajo guides.

The RMS Canyon of Light Meditation Retreats are meditative adventures to the beautiful and powerful locations featured in Rama's Canyon of Light music and video https://www.ramameditationsociety.org/canyons-light-cayman-blue. We travel to these special places of power to renew our spirit, to purify ourselves in nature and to enjoy fellowship with other students of self-discovery.

Agenda:

• Friday June 19th – travel day; group dinner (6 PM)

• Saturday June 20th – morning to mid afternoon: private jeep tour of Canyon, including stops to explore native ruins and enjoy formal meditation sessions; evening: group dinner

• Sunday June 21st – Rim car tours with meditation stops; early afternoon: closing meditative circle; travel day

Program fee – $50. Additional participant costs include hotels, transportation, individual portion of guided jeep tour (Sat), meals, incidentals, etc. All participants must be adults and must sign a general liability release form.
